AH! Just applied for my zoo internship!!

    Wish me luck!!!
The position I applied for was the Mammal department internship, specifically carnivores. Hopefully my experience will "woo" them.
Any prayers, wishes, and/or luck-bringing tribal dances would be greatly appreciated!!!

Good luck! Those internships are worth their weight in gold. Most zoos will only hire those who have done previous internships, and once you have a degree, none of the zoos around here will allow you to intern. . . messed up!

I know right! Its a great place!!! the only reason I left was because I wanted to get a degree specializing in wildlife/zoology and GA State had nothing close to that. I was there from 2004-2012 and learned way more there than in college. If they don't call you after a week or two, call and make sure they know who you are and that your application was received and actually looked at, Once you get the interview message me and I can give you some pointers, they are pretty selective about who they hire for any position where you are close to the animals.
