    Anybody know how to fatten mealworms???

    I have a small colony started now & looking to take a few out of current stock to try to keep from morph'n and want to grow those into GIANTS...
    I'm goinna use them for my own panfish bait....
    Been all over net look'n for instructions on this process to no avail..
    seems like its some deep dark secret???
    any help would be appreciated.... :-)

    Well mealworms only get as big as they can before they just stop growing lol I used to feed mine veggies, lots of mixed veggies the frozen kind so thy dont have added preservatives etc in them. They loved it and grew very nice.

    You might want to get some superworms, they are much larger and would probably work better as bait.

    I have those also been feed'n'm veggies & get'n ready fer fish'n season here in OK & wanna try ta get meals bigger before we get in full swing....
    they say a growth hormone is what keeps them from morph'n but cant reproduce after ya start them on it???
    that really doesnt apply hear cuz they'll be in a fishes mouth & him on my table before they cood produce anyways......
