    do pastell ball pythons make good pets!

    i would like to know i am quite knew to pythons and i have heard that the pastel is very nice and my freind has another pastel male and i am looking for a female for a pet and to breed with my mates pastel i have a spider but i want a bumble bee bad and i need a super pastel to do this

    Theres no difference in temperament between morphs lol. A pastel could be just as friendly as your spider...

    You also do not need a super pastel to make a bumblebee. You only a spider and a pastel.

    You do not need a super, but if you get your hands on one you will have a better clutch as all will come out at least as pastels, and you will probably enjoy the brighter coloring more if keeping as a pet longer term.
    That said, a pastel would be cheaper and if you would get it a new home after you bred your bee out, then you would save money in a sense. Is your spider a female? Going off the assumption the spider is a male along with your friend's pastel being male, and thus your need for a female pastel, you may want to consider investing in a bee female and breeding that to your friends pastel. With that pairing you could produce a killer bee (a super pastel spider).
