Kind of Pythons..
well, i posted on another forum, and they said that i should narrow it down a bit since there were so many, here's my reply to them
"wow, i didnt realize how many there were.
well, here are some things im looking for:
any size UNDER 6 1/2 feet long, nothing over, the 'rents wouldnt like that..
pretty easy to maintain, nothing that is super hard, something, thats like a lil step over a beginer snake, i know im still like a noob, but i think i could handle it, id have to research
as for the price range, um, $300 is the max price ('rents wouldnt like that either, but its my money)
but i want to say, i dont like to deal with the higher humidity, meaning over 60% on a regular basis, 50% is fine, because thats the easiest for me to mainain.
i hope that narrowed it down a lil, thanks"

Hmmm......lets see....since you don't like to deal w/high humidity, that knocks out Savu Pythons....heres some that I could think of off the top of my head:
-Spotted/Children's Pythons.
-Irian Jaya Carpet Pythons
-Jungle Carpet Pythons
Or if you want a colubrid that looks like a python, you could always get an African House Snake.

That list looks good to me David.. I would look into the African House snake if I were you Royal-y because they are python like in looks but colubrid like in activity - those little buggers are pretty cool and it would be nice to mix it up a little with a colubrid just so you could see the difference in personality and such (assuming you have a BP)
on a side note I'm working on compiling a list like that myself (a list of python species and sizes and other info.) hopefully I'll have some free time soon to knock out some more of it.

Whoa - I think you are the only person besides myself I have heard use the term " 'rents" in . . . a damn while.
I'd tend toward the JCP out of that list myself, but only because I really dig their patterns.
