My big girl shed for the first time with us - I'm not sure if she is a Volta or not (input is welcome), but she is one big girl! I wanted to share pics of how big her shed is, and of course her pretty, fresh-shed self

Is she a wild caught import? As far as I know Outback Reptiles is the only one that gets Volta Region girls.

I have no idea... lol we got her from someone, who got her from someone else a year or so ago...

Imports come from Volta region every year. It's a high dense ball python area in Ghana and tons of imports come in every year from there.

What exactly constitutes a Volta? I'm unsure of her age, she is approx. 5 ft. long and weighs 3300g. We got her just over a month ago and she has gained 300g, no power-feeding... we actually had to feed her smaller meals, because we didn't have big enough frozen rats for her.... I'm having a hard time finding any info on Voltas or Sub-Saharan Giants.
