    VE-200 or Herpstat 1?

I am looking to pick up a sub-adult rack at the next Repticon and was looking for a few opinions on which thermostat to pick up along with it. So, having said that, which would you guys suggest? The VE-200 or the Herpstat 1?

I have a Herpstat 1 and 4 and both are great. Also buying direct was easy and they ship fast. You will not be disappointed with a Herpstat.

The herpstat 1 is a better thermostat. More features, more precise temperature regulation, and night drop capability standard (no need for an extra add on) just to name a few advantages.

    VE-200 or Herpstat 1?

Herpstats have far more safety features and options. They have been produced far longer as well. The published specs back higher accuracy. I have been told the Ve offer the same accuracy but as that is not in writing it might be hard to call for a replacement. All at a lower price. To my mind VE is not in the running at all it comes down to herpstat or ecozone. Herpstat for safety and ecozone for alerts/remote management. Cost usually chooses between these two as ecozone are expensive units.
