    When should I weigh them?

I was wondering when is the best time to get my snakes on the scale and get the most accurate weight? Should i wait a certain amount of days after a meal or after they poop?

After a poop is most accurate, when they're empty.

    When should I weigh them?

After a poop is considered "on empty" but you can get an idea a few days after a meal.

    When should I weigh them?

I weigh the day before feeding day. They have usually pooped by then and as empty as they will be.

Re: When should I weigh them?

All of mine get weighed weekly a few hours before I feed. When they poop, they also get weighed. I'm pretty anal about getting accurate weights on my snakes.

That said, my big breeding females don't get weighed that often because I don't like to transfer them too much when they are building. They get weighed maybe once a month.

Well i guess i picked the perfect day to ask the question. I went to change the water and decided to pick up my normal and hang out with him. Well he took a HUGE turd on me. Gross!!! But i got both of us cleaned up and got him on the scale. 814 grams. He is getting big.
