anyone one here keep/breed African pygmy mice????

Ive been having a difficult time locating some nearby, and Ive been doing research on them...seems the care is pretty much like regular mice except everything is scaled down(tiny) and that they need to be kept warm (like 80 degrees) to breed. Getting the needed supplies like tiny seeds, bird watering tubes, and such is not the hard part. Ive only seen them for sale ONCE at the Hamburg show, in all my 10+ years of going there. Anyone else have any experience with these teeny little guys? Any advice you could give me as to their care and where to locate a trio or so would be great.

I think Aes_Sidhe was looking for some a little while back. Idk if he found any but he lives near NYC so thats sorta close to you. If he found some he may be able to hook you up. I'd try PMing him.

There is guy selling them on Hamburg Show from what i know... don't ask me who exactly... Unfortunatelly because of lack of transportation I will not be able to go and pick up a trio this time maybe next show... last price was 30$ for pair so those are little pricey buggers...

Ha ha Aes...i got a trio for....$45(ridiculous, right?) But anyways, we still havent gotten home from the show, so no pics yet. But the guy said one of the females is already pregnant. Im gonna hopefully get a good colony going so i can cater to the needs of small snake owners in the area

Sounds cool...though I've never seen them. LOL I just pick up some mice a couple days ago to start my own little breeding colony. Just plain old mice from Petco. I hope they make lots of babies for the corn snakes. Anyone breed regular mice? Tips?
