    Here we go...
1 black male cat, Inky, adopted by us from the SPCA over a year and a half ago and getting a bit on the plump side.
2.2 Ball pythons and 1.0 BCI, you can see their names in my sig.
1.1 Tiger salamanders; their names are Slasher and Thrasher.
0.1 Albino Cranwell's horned frog, Bene, who is huge!
1.2 Rats, being used as breeders to produce babies to feed the snakes
I also have a 125-gallon tank containing 4 Oscar cichlids who are laying eggs, along with a foot long plecostomus. In two other 55g tanks, I have a bunch of fancy goldfish including lionheads and telescopes, and even an albino.
I also have a breeding colony of African Clawed frogs. Breeding them is easier than breathing!
And Mark, my boyfriend and co-herp-addict!
Here are a few pics of Bene...

-Jen. Back in the hobby after a hiatus!
    Ball pythons:
    0.1 normal; 1.1 albino. 1.0 pied; 0.1 het pied; 1.0 banana.

Rusty...does it ever get difficult to distinguish between your personal collection and your rescues? That's quite a houseful you've got there!

Yes indeed, I jumped the gun on calling her my fiance. Technically she is still just my girlfriend. I am quite confident, however, that she will be saying yes & as such I just decided to list her as my fiance! 8)

I am impressed by your attention to detail though Jenna, most of the others around here *cough* - Jonah - *cough* have already taken to calling her my fiance in accordance with the post I made about our pending engagement. So, I appreciate your attention to detail on the matter & I will update you & everyone else too on how things go as soon as we get back from the trip. We don't leave until next week though, so I will still be around until then!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

    Hi all,
We take care of all the animals the same. I of course have my favorites like Ripper the big nile monitor. and I am really falling for the new female water monitor. You get attached to certain ones individually. But each aniaml has a terrific story behind it, and usually has gone through great triumphs to get here (so to speak). But we have had a great run so far this year with placing animals into great homes.
You also have to remember that there are certain animals that are usued in our educational shows. Some are "special needs" animals (like three legged turtles, or Tiny the leopard gecko), and some are just big like Merlin (the big burm) or Ripper (the big nile monitor).
But it can be a handfull...lol
Off to the vet with a Painted turtle that was hit by a car. (I'll post details in a different thread if you guys want).
    Thanks
