As for ballbids I personally dont mind the business model. Now with that said i havent bothered wasting even 1 second reading what has gone on with them on the BOI. Im sure they've screwed up huge somewhere. But if handled correctly and professionally from the beginning...it is a good business model.

If your a big name in the industry, your reputation is stellar, or I know you personally and trust you, I will ship first.

Otherwise I will not ship first. Shipping first got me into the situation I'm in now and I will not do it again with dubious people, Irregardless of who initiates the trade.

With that said, I think if you plan on making others ship first you also need to work your butt off to establish a firm reputation as an honest and trustworthy person in the industry.
