Yeah the active ones are tough, you get em in a good position and they don't wanna stay in it long enough for you to back off and take the pic! Great looking Boa you have there though!

Thanks! I kept trying to get her to stay on the other side of the tree, in the sun, for some closeups, but she did NOT want her head in the sunshine. Can't blame her, I guess. I would avoid the sun, too, if I didn't have any eyelids!!!!!

The coloring on her eyes makes her look like she got into the "kitty litter" haha.

She is gorgeous! I love how "non-photographable" bci's are. Apache will never stay still for me to take a photo; he's always wantin' to explore everything and see what's goin' on. I love boas!

I like how you can see the movement of her eyes from one pic to another by how they line up to her markings. Good pics, Randy.

Beautiful pictures, Randy! I stand in awe....
Do you worry about her getting away from you in the tree? When I tried to get pictures of Caesar in the tree, he immediately went UP! Didn't seem to matter how far apart or how slender the branches were...

She did try and continually go up, but they move so much more slowly than colubrids, it was no problem keeping her within reach.
