What cage should I get for my next boa?
Hoping to pickup a male columbian red tail at white plains show at the end of February.
I currently have Vision Tanks but was thinking of going with the AP T3.... Thoughts??

use alot of cover. i have a dumerils in a 20l tank and im just waiting for my t10 to come in the mail. you can always order the divider and take it out when the snake gets bigger if you feel it is too big. put a hide on the hot, cool and in the middle some logs for coverage and you should be good.

I agree. Get the divider. A boa will very rapidly outgrow the T3. If you're going to spend the money, get the T10 and use the divider until the snake is bigger. Boas are not like BPs and even babies tend to do fine in larger enclosures as long as they have lots of hiding places. They are very intelligent and curious snakes. With more space, you can offer things for him to climb on too which will help him develop good muscle tone.
If you get a male, the T10 will likely be big enough for the rest of his life as long as he doesn't turn into a monster (which truthfully is not likely, lol). If you get a female though, be prepared to upsize to the T13 or T20 eventually as the females do get large enough to outgrow the T10.
The AP cages are really good - well made and hold heat and humidity very well. Excellent choice for the money!
BTW, the T10 is only $20 more than the T3. It's WELL worth the extra space.

I went with proline for my boa, just waiting for it to come in so I can't give feedback on it yet.
2.0 Red Tail Boa (BCC) - Neil, Hermes (Suriname)
0.1 Normal Ball - Moonlight (RIP)
1.0 BEL (lesser x mojave)
