    ......Extremly active last few days

.. ok since saturday night my snake has been moving day and night.....normally he stays in his hides ....haven't seen him this active for several months .....double checked, all my temps are good......since he is not very active, do they go through spells at times where they are very active, to get some type of exercise ??

Could have something to do with the weather front that has been moving across lately.. Been seeing a lot of weather related breeding and from my experience in fishing reptiles/amphibians and other small animals tend to b more active during low pressure fronts.. Just a thought

Either that or he's getting hungry

How long have u had him ? I just got my girl 8 days ago and after a hour of exploring she didn't move from her hide for like 3 days but she's settled in now cruises around at night and she pokes her head out eveyday when iget home from work as if to say "play with me".. I have fed her twice now n the day after she sits on the warm side then the next day she sits on the cool side untill it's lights out.. After lights out its party time haha she's a trouble maker re arranging her enclosure almost every night

Yeah, I second the notion that it's the weather. Mine has been acting the opposite. She's usually very active but has refused to come out of her hide every since the funky weather.

A lot of people seem to be dealing with this right now.
