    What do you think?

in the comments section of this video

there's some guy who thinks you can freely handle venomous snakes
    especially this guy

Even though both of our comments are old, he's still going on about it in the comment section.

    what's your opinion on this?

My opinion, is like I said, it's a wild animal, it doesn't love or trust you. It tolerates you.

The very beginning of that video states exactly why he is able to hold that animal, venomoid, and thats sick and messed up. But I have seen enough with venomous and even some non venomous that not all snakes can be 'tame'. I think its easier with constrictors, especially ball pythons, their natural response is to ball up and hide, not strike. There are many snakes that when they feel threatened their natural response is to strike. Its just not worth the risk to free handle venomous. Heck even dogs can snap and maul their owners or others.

I think we need to amend the word venomoid to include a V in between the currect m and o. Vemonvoid would explain a lot more to people. ;0

I also mention that one of his favorited videos is "Insane Clown Posse". That in itself should make him banned from humanity.

    Re: What do you think?

People like that shouldn't own snakes. If you have to permanently mutilate how nature intended it to be in order to interact safely with it than you shouldn't own it... That is all.

    What do you think?

Maybe dumb question but can't some venomoid still have like residual venom or something? One of my buddy's explained it and said they vet may not do a great job an the snake ends up being able to produce venom again or never even loses its ability too. Is that right or is it once someone does that to a snake their is no reverse. Any how wonder what dude is gonna do when his snakes give him a cluth and they are all venomous he doesn't seem like he has thought that far but could be wrong I mean he was smart enough to put on a shirt half way threw the vid haha

Yeah a lot of the time it isn't done properly, the venom ducts are removed but not the glands. The ducts are able to regenerate, and are able to deliver venom to the fangs again.

I'm pretty sure that guy also has venomous snakes away.

He just obviously likes animal cruelty, you wouldn't take the muscles out of a constrictor so why take out the method venomous snakes use to kill? Hope he gets tagged by one that hasn't been operated on properly and looses an arm or something lol.

Ya I don't understand harmin any animal that way if you wanna keep it keep it like it naturally is. An k that makes sense and i can understand people screwing up taking out the venom making stuff I'm sure it's placed in there pretty crafty. An I can't lie when I noticed that wasn't some weird fuzzy shirt I wanted the snake to bite him just as punishment for not having a shirt

Not saying I like the guy, but in his defense he does say that he bought the snake that way, and if given the choice he would never do it to a snake he owns. He stated its harder for them to eat and takes alot more care in order to keep them healthy. Just sayin....
