    My New Corn!

She is 486g. Not sure about length, but she's really big (to me). And, she's not named yet because I am not 100% sure she's a she. She is a tiny bit on the thin side, but granted, I got her off of craigslist and she was only being fed once a month. She ate a 27g mouse yesterday because it was the largest one I had in my freezer at the time. Also, sorry about the crappy cell phone pics. It's the only camera I have.

    Re: My New Corn!

    Congrats! She's a pretty normal!

You can always take her to a herp vet and have her sexed. Most charge like $10 bucks. Maybe someone in your area can sex her for you for free

I'm fairly sure she's a she. Her tail is really short and thin past her vent scale. I'm going to take her to the expo to get her sexed next month, so for now she'll just remain unnamed. I'm going to measure her length today if she's not being too squirmy. She has a lot of energy!

    Re: My New Corn!

I've found that I have to have someone help me measure my snakes. All of them (even my ball pythons) are too wiggly for me to measure them alone.

For me, my bp is just too reluctant to stretch out for me. The corn will stretch out for me but she likes to wiggle! lol I think I'm going to try out that snake measuring app.

    Re: My New Corn!

Gratz on the pic up! Nice looking corn.

Any update on length? I'm guessing 3 1/2-4 feet.

Never mind, just read the other thread and saw she's about 5 ft.

Gratz and she looks like a nice curious corn. They are definitely night and day compared to bps but that's what makes this hobby so much fun!
