    2 Questions????

    1. My bp shed (one piece for her first time with me OH YEA! ) defecated, and i also found urates in her hide today.. is that normal for bps to do all that in their hides?
The poop was all over her underbelly so i had to wipe her down with baby wipes...... Disgusting, i even got some on my hand lol.

    2. Do you think this rat to big for my bp? She ate the rat without a problem after sizing it up for 5 minutes and she swallowed the rat pretty quickly. I just dont want her eating something bigger than what its supposed to be. Thanks in advance for any reply and advice i get.

If she got it down chances are it's not too big. If it is too big you'll know when/if she regurges. If you had a weight on her and the prey there wouldn't be any doubt if it was too big or not. And yes, it's common for BPs to poop after they shed.

Also, beautiful girl! Love those reduced pattern females and with those joined alien heads... wow!

Ball Pythons seem to be dirty snakes. When they go it seems they dont have a problem crawling threw it. when my boas go they wont go anywhere near it until its cleaned up.

Too big, not that they can't eat that size but the trick with ball pythons is to keep them eating regularly.
Smaller meals more often seems to work better than larger meals that take them longer to digest.
