    Feeding after shed

Hello. I'm new to the world of Ball Pythons and was wondering how long I should wait to feed my Ball after shed. He's roughly six months old (we've had him for a month) and feeding on small rats. He's been a great eater, but I haven't fed him since the shed started (our first shed). I know he's ok going without for a cycle (week) or two, but wanted feedback on whether I should try to get him back on schedule this Saturday.

    respectfully,

    eric

After they have sloughed the skin, I normally wait until their regular feeding day to start again.

I feed on the next scheduled feed day after the shed is completed.

    Re: Feeding after shed

Thank you for the feedback. I'm going to offer him food on Saturday (normal feed schedule). He's been in his hide for 4 straight days. He's normally pretty active, but the shed process must wear him out. I'm hoping that now he's through it, he'll get back to normal.

thank you again for the feedback.

    respectfully

    eric
