    her first rat!

Ever since I got Andromeda (who is now a year old) I have been feeding her mice since the only pett store nearby doesn't sell anything smaller than a small rat. I decided to take the plunge today and switch to small rats instead of 2 large mice per feeding. My darling is a champion and gobbled the whole thing up so fast! I was a bit worried since the rat was about twice the size of the mice I had previously fed her. I had also heard that switching to rats was hard because mice are like candy to BP's. Luckily for me she struck and ate the thing so fast there was no problem at all. I sure do have a little piggy. She is looking at me for more food as I type XD

I do have a question though. Since I switched her to larger food do I feed her less often? I used to feed her 2 large mice every 7 days. Thanks for the input!

Thats awesome! It's always a relief when they start taking rats. You can still feed every 7 days
