How do I get urine off my balls?
I keep my 7 ball pythons in boaphile racks on paper towels and when they urinate I normally get solid urates and liquid urine. The problem I have been having is the snakes are getting the liquid urine all over them because it saturates the paper towels, thus sometimes leaving a musky urine scent on them. I keep everything top notch clean and don't find this to be a problem, however 1 member of my family has the nose of a blood hound. I have read about forum members soaking their snakes in plain water to get it off. I don't find this practical every time they pee. My question is what else has everyone done for this situation? Could I spray F10SC on a paper towel and let the snake slither through?

I don't have any input as I don't normally need to wash off my snakes if they pee (they never smell that I can notice), but I did lol at the thread title Hope someone can help ya out

Use some tp!
I use paper towels as well and I've never had that problem.

Re: How do I get urine off my balls?
I put some warm water in the bath tub and let them swim around while I clean out the tubs. They don't usually like the tub but they don't smell after.

If you don't want to rinse them in water just buy a package of the gentle or sensitive skin type baby wipes to keep by your rack. Just grab one and wipe down the snake. They do not have harsh chemicals in them. Hence being safe for newborn humans with sensitive skin or allergies so it wouldn't harm your reptiles. On the contrary.

I also use unscented baby wipes and occasionally give them a wipe down I'd they had the notion to crawl through their pees and poos during the night.

If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.
