    Should I be expecting eggs?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! Just a question for all you experienced breeders out there. I started pairing hmm maybe a week before October. My big normal girl has locked 10 times since then. She is currently in shed and off feeding. Should I be expecting eggs 30 days after her shed or is it still too early? She also was bred to a Desert last year but never produced any eggs so i'm hoping for some surprises this year!

As a wild guess, since I'm not palpating her and going off of your starting time, you have a whole nother shed period to go through before she goes into preov shed and then eventually ovulating and going into prelay shed and then 30-35 days until eggs.

Thank you for your input, I guess i'm just over excited this whole process. So its a total of 3 ish sheds prior to eggs?

    That would be fairly normal.

Start pairing and hopefully fairly quickly they start to grow follicles, then shed and go through that period growing follicles, then preov shed, glow, ovulate and go into prelay shed, then 30-35 days to eggs.

This is a fairly standard season but some will take longer to begin to grow follicles, stretching their season out another shed period.

And then some just never grow them, and some will grow them and absorb them, it's all a roll of the dice and if they are healthy with good body mass, and everything goes right, you get rewarded
