Newest update of my 2012 hatchlings!

So I was cleaning tubs the other day and realized how big some of my babies are getting. What better excuse to break out the camera! So here are my babies, my pride and joy of the 2012 season.

    Fire male:

    Another fire male:

    Fire female:

    Another fire female:

    Vanilla male:

    Vanilla Mojave female:

Het Pied boy, this was the runt that I thought I would loose:

het Pied girl, she is still stunning to me:

    Low white pied male:

    Low white pied female:

    Fifty-Fifty pied boy:

An interesting thing to me about my pieds. They had two different mom's but the same dad. All of the het pieds had tail stripes, and all of the visual pieds, even the one I lost, had white tail tips!

Now here are a couple of my hubby's baby's from this year. The one's that weren't in blue.

    Blackback normal boy:

    Another blackback normal boy:

    Woma girl:

It is interesting that while his clutch had different fathers: a woma, a spider and a lesser. All of his babies carried the reduced pattern/blackback of their mom. He's awfully proud of them, and he's really glad I suggested he keep her as his female instead of selling her.

So there they are. I don't mind saying, I'm pretty thrilled with how my pairings produced the kind of top notch babies I wanted. I guess that means I've got a pretty good eye for quality.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Yes these fires are just what I hoped to get from the pairing that produced them. I am so proud of how amazing they look. One of the eyeless fires found a home with a member here and so far as I know is doing well. The second eyeless fire will only eat if I put the rat in her mouth, but she's eating and growing and I have high hopes she'll come around in time.

I have a show at the end of the month that I am hoping to do well at. Of course, interested parties can always PM me.

I say it again, those are some of the best fires I have ever seen. Please say you are repeating the pairing this year and will put my name on a female, please? P.S. I would love a female genetic black back next year too!
