Ok i have looked all over and found this one. Havnt bought it yet is this a good size for an adult ball python. It has good height i know ball pythons are terrestrial but i am sure the still like to climb plus its good exercise.

    Its the 1889.

Sterilite tub for adult ball python.

hmmm it is pretty big but the min. recc. for adults (as far as I know) is 36" long - the snake will likely be longer than that anyway so a bit bigger might be good believe it or not (others probably know more though)

Go to wal-mart or any place with storage bins, ect. Look for a massive one with a secure top, or on that you could secure with modifications. Just look around wal-mart's shelves, you'll find at least 5 sized well enough.

Also, keep in mind that those measurements are from the outside - and since the lip extends farther out, they are not the true inside measurement of space your BP will have. I've noticed there's usually a 3-4 inch difference. Take a tape measure with you to the store and actually measure on the inside.

If you wait until tomorrow, I will have a newer, better, rubbermaid housing do it yourself article.

Heat lamps aren't recommended since belly heat is better, but you can use one by using a soldering iron to remove a round section of the lid about 1" bigger than the light fixture then covering that space with galvanized steel mesh attached to the plastic lid with 4" cable ties through holes made in the plastic with the soldering iron.

that looks about the size of my bci's current enclosure. except it isn't sterelite, it's rubbermaid. i've found that sterelite uses thinner plastic, which is easily manipulated (bent) when heat is applied for a long period of time. i'd go with rubbermaid.

I should point out that if you use your boy/girl friend's soldering iron to melt plastic he/she WILL hurt you.
Just buy a new tip and use that one, then set it aside for doing non-soldering stuff.
