Fruit Flies crawling up walls of tuppaware?

I recently obtained a Mediterranean Gecko baby who's only about an inch long.
He eats just fine but he has a hard time catching them because they like to crawl up the sides and onto the lid.

Fruit Flys are a pain :p
I know one of my friends uses a vitamin powder to dust his before he feeds. Weights them down enough, plus they sit still to clean themselves.
**that's if your lizard needs a vitamin powder.***

You can also slow them down some by placing in the fridge for a few mins before you feed.
