    Are these yellow belly?

Thinking I was sold normals as a yellow belly, they was in a package deal and even if they are normal I still got a good deal but I deserve to receive what I paid for. This guy actually is a very reputable breeder in my area but I've shown them to people and they think no yb
I can get any angle shot you need just give me an example of the angle and I'll take it

I'm not seeing yellow belly there. The morphs name can be confusing. Identifying a YB had more to do with pattern than with color.

to be honest, the pictures shown are not enough to give you the answer you're looking for. yellowbellies are definitely harder to pick out without being compared to a normal but they will have flaming coming up on their sides, and usually have more of a lighter tone to their skin when compared to a normal with yellow closer to the belly scales. Of course their are all types of qualities within yellowbelly which can make it even harder. I have seen them also with clear bellies and and checkered bellies, clear being higher quality imo.

my opinion though is that they might be normals or low quality yellow bellies, you can't tell if there is much flaming if any on one of them.

    Yellow belly

    Yellow belly

    Normal belly

See the difference? Flames and a whole bunch of checkering on the sides.

While I agree the second snake does have a "clean" belly, there is no yellow belly in either snake as far as I can tell.

Actually those pics are good enough to definitively rule out those babies being YB. YB's can not be picked out by yellow near their bellies. By these pics you can def say that they are not YB.

OP, you say that the breeder is reputable. How so? I am also curious as to what the good package deal was? 2 normal hatchling females should only run you about 50-60 where as 2 YB's more like 100-200. More in the range of 200-250. I can assure you that there is no way that either of those is a YB. This breeder is not so reputable if they are trying to pass those of as such.

no flames, no speckling on the belly, no checkering down the lower sides, no yb
