I am so sorry. Please don't blame yourself. You did more for her than a lot of people would have. Sometimes it is just there time to go and there is nothing anybody can do to stop it. There is no need for the coulda woulda shoulda. Once again I am sorry.

I'm sorry for your loss. As others have said, don't beat yourself up over this. It's normal to feel badly after a loss like this, particularly when you suspect earlier or more aggressive action may have given better results. I think everyone here would agree your actions were appropriate from the moment the snake was in your care. Honestly, though, there are some things that can't be fixed. Please let us know what the necropsy results are.

Sorry for your loss. You tried. Sometimes it's best if it ends quickly.
Years ago I had a snake that developed RI which was helped by meds and went away for a time but always came back. The vet said we could keep playing that game for only so long because it took stronger meds each time to clear it up. Eventually the meds failed. As I think back, I'm not sure that prolonging the process was the right thing.
