    Do I have a ghost/hypo?

I never intended to get into ghost. I have a norm female purchased from a big breeder that has no markings on her shed. I've heard that's a indicator of ghost/hypo. This breeder does a lot of ghost/hypo stuff.
    what do u think?

Some heterozygous hypo's shed clear but look more like light normals that homozygous hypos.

    Re pics

I'll take a pic of her tonight. Next to a definite normal. She's 66% het pied. It would be cool to have a double het. I'm already working on pied and clown another recessive is one to much for me. 3 is a crowd. I'll just settle for random ghost floating in my lines.
She looks like a light normal. After two years I noticed she had no markings in her shed looks like a naked nylon. I never noticed because I wasn't looking. I'll take a pic of the one I thought was ghost but isn't too.

The hypo gene is floating all over the hobby
There's been a huge boat load of poss hets produced and sold as normals since they aren't worth anymore than a normal anymore.

Yes. That's why I have it. I wanted some normal females and the breeder I ordered from didn't have any. Then he said he did. I think he sent me a poss axanthic, norm, and poss pied which may also be 100% hypo. Anyway I only paid 20 each so anything is a bonus. It's good to know anyway.

Dont mean to rain on the parade....
But theres no way he sold you a Hypo female for $20.
Hypos are easy to tell from normals once you've seen enough. Go on WOBP or google some pics. You should be able to tell

Well a het hypo will shed just like a normal. Het hypos dont shed clear. And also, yes any "Poss Het" will sell as a Normal... 100% hets however, not so much..

Actually there has been het hypos that shed clear. As was stated before. Also people DO sell hets (100%) as normals quite often.
