    Bad news, good news

    So the other night I woke up at about midnight. My pet mouse's cage was on the floor.

    I turn on the lights and who do I see slithering to go under my dresser?

    Bobba.

    Seems I didn't pull his glass doors shut ALL the way before I locked them. Luckily I woke up an caught him before he was truly 'escaped'.

    I tore my room apart, but no Ash.

    Pretty sure Boo got him. I cried quite a bit, as he was the sweetest mouse I've ever had.

    Got him from the pet store as a wee hopper. He was gonna be food, but I fell in love.

    So, today I went to the pet store looking for another mouse, but they didn't have any. I haven't had a hamster in a long time, so I asked to check them out and fell in love.

    He has no name yet but he's super cute, and has a fluffy butt

    Oh geez, he's cute. Name him fluffy butt! Sorry about little Ash. At least you caught your snake before he got lost. If it weren't for Ash, he may have headed for a better hiding spot and gotten lost.

    Aww I am so sorry about Ash. I would definitely cry is my Ashhamsterly rat got eaten. I know the little hamster will have a great home with you!
