Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I put him in a small container with the mouse and left him there. About five hours later I checked on him and the mouse was gone. <3
But I do have another question: Will I have to do this every time I feed him, or will he begin taking it regularly again? I don't mind doing this, I just wonder which way it will go.

I'd do it a few more times, just to keep him eating. Then, I'd try regular feeding. If it fails, go back to the tub for a few more feedings.

*Nods* Okay, I'll stick with it for a while then. Again, thanks everybody.

Only yesterday after about 4 feeds in a small rub did mine take from tongs in a larger feeding box with no lid. Even then it was half hearted with regards to striking. Looks like the confidence thing really does take time and there's no rushing involved when it comes to snakes.
