The glass on the inside of Amber's tank is starting to get pretty gross, we have pretty hard water here, and it looks like theres a buildup forming on the inside from when I mist the cage down.
What cleaning solution should I use? Is just soap and water alright to use? I don't know what is or is not toxic to the snake. Thanks!

Best/Safest way to clean inside glass
Zoo Med makes something called "Wipe Out" that you can use to clean the sides of the tank. It basically smells like rubbing alcohol. While it's considered safe, it is recommended that you not use the product while the snake is in the tank.
Another option might be white vinegar. It should get the water stains off the glass, and again, I would not use it, or anything else, while the snake is in the tank.

Are products like windex toxic to snakes? I don't think windex is ammonia based....

I think Windex is ammonia-based, and I'd suggest a vinegar and water solution. It works a treat.

We use star spray, and rinse, It is actually what many vets etc will use, theres a few different "industrial" products out there, Maybe a search on the internet will come up with a few. Otherwise I agree with Marla on the vinigar and H2O

Yep...vinegar works great. Whatever you use, though, be sure to rinse well and let air dry before putting the contents and snake back in.
If you have hard water troubles, I would seriously consider buying some bottled water for your misting and such. I remember the water we had in San Antonio...omg, that stuff would leave a layer of cement on the inside of a tank if I misted with it every day! It'd be well worth the expense and trouble to switch to bottled water.

Virosan from pro exotics is great for glass can spray while bp is in cage and you just wipe down no need for rinsing.
My favorite No fuss No muss

you should clean the entire cage out with soap, water, and bleach when it starts looking like that.
