I just wanted to report that feeding number 2 went equally as well as feeding number one! I do not have to work much at all to get her going. I think i had the mouse in her tank for about .6 seconds! She struck so quickly that i wasn't even ready for it! That is one hungry little mama!!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

I am feeding f/t! The pet store that i got her from fed her thumped mice. They were live but dazed. Obviously we know that this is a dangerous practice so i had no intention of doing so. I was prepared to have to try all the tricks of the trade to get her to switch over but got a pleasant surprise last wednesday when she struck the f/t within seconds. I had thought that maybe that happened because she hadn't eaten in so long & was just terribly hungry. But, today, one week later, she HAMMERED on the f/t! I am a very happy pappy!

Raj, she is in the neighborhood of 18 inches. I have no actually taken time to measure her exactly. Hopefully she will start to fatten up cuz she is a bit thin. Obviously she is a good eater tho!

Way to go Hissy! On F/T without putting you through trials and tribulations, what a good snake.

Congrats; I know what a great feeling it is when they eat well! You feel like telling the world, but it might be strange if you stood on a street corner yelling out "my snake ate!" Just come here and tell us, and we'll understand.
