My opinion is that the Mayans aren't around anymore so they probably aren't the best source of info...

The good book says the end will come "like a thief in the night." And no one but God himself knows the day. So it certainly won't happen when it would be expected to.

Great point about leap year. Also, some claim that the sun will rise between the middle of the galaxy and the sun, and this is false, as it happened most recently thousands of years ago!

Re: So the world is going to end soon, right?

Boy, I sure hope this isn't the end. I just got my new pvc cage up and running, all blinged out with RHPs and a Herpstat II, and I think I deserve more then 6 weeks enjoying it in all its' low maintenance beauty. Also, my new superpastel female won't be breedable for at least 2 years.

The world was supposed to end on my birthday last year, or was it this year? Heck I can't remember. The May 21st one. Anyways, I used it as an excuse to get extra "happy" and told everyone to not to worry because the world was ending which meant no hangover.

The world will not end this December, proof? I have food that doesn't expire until 2013. So ha!

I'd have to dig around, but I believe within the last year or so they have found proof that the Mayan calendar either continues or they were simply out of space and shouldn't be read into at the depth people do.

    Or something.

IDK but I think within the last year the 'end of the Mayan calendar' thing got debunked

Nope.. It's actually ending in one week.. I got the low-down.. So everyone with really cool snakes should just send em to me right away. I'll give them the best last few days of their life ever. That way you can enjoy your time with your families

Oh, I also have some ocean front property in AZ I'm selling for real cheap if you're interested!
