My new Blood (the nameless ) has yet to come out of his hot hide OR he is one sneaky devil. Hes gone as far as hanging his head out of the entrance but I cant wait till he starts cruising the cage (they do cruise dont they). So Im beggining to see that snakes FORCE you to learn patience, something I could use a great deal more of. Im waiting for Plissken to eat again, Ive got to wait a week before trying again with him, Ive got to wait till hes feeding regularly before handling him again, Ive got to wait till my blood gets comfortable before I can see the rest of him. By the time these guys get done with me Im gonna be like some yogi guru lama guy, that watches rocks decompose while sitting in extremely uncomfortable positions.

Paul, i think maybe you need one more pet -- one you can handle just about anytime. Maybe a nice cat or gecko.

LOL...this topic really made me smile! Paul...I think this is why so many people have so many different snakes. That way they can usually be able to handle at least one of them at any given time. But, every single one of them will have its own lesson in patience to teach, I'm sure!
