    Nicest Granite Ever

Couldn't resist snapping a few pics of this girl after she shed last night. I bought her about 4 or 5 years ago but the only clutch I ever produced with her was stupidly incubated on Miracle-Gro perlite, so I don't know for sure yet what she can actually do. She's one of my strongest eaters and has now gotten up to 3240 grams, she's a beast. I always wonder if she'll turn out to be something other or "more" than just an incredible Granite.

Very nice granite! Do you know if it's genetic yet? I know you said the clutch died in incubation, but is she from a proven line? We have a sweet granite that we are hoping to prove this year. Best of luck with that beast!

No proven line, she came from Africa. If I remember correctly, she was only about 800 grams back when I got her. Out of a 5-egg clutch 2 years ago, this one was the most unusual looking baby. She was bred to a Granite Yellow Belly and I'm not sure where in development it died, so I can't really pinpoint anything for sure yet. I can't imagine her traits not being inheritable though.
