A Long Overdue update on my 40 pound BEL!

I've been telling myself that I'd get around to posting an update on my husky for over a month now so here it goes lol:

I got my husky a few months back when he was 14 weeks old (born late January 2012)

His name is Picard (Yes I am a total Trekkie) We are training him in agility, and he is pretty good at Frisbee too. We decided to keep him on a raw meat diet and are very happy with the decision.

He's been growing like a weed!

I swear he is part cat, he loves playing with string.

He always finding new places to hide in so he can ambush my feet lol

One day I found him like this... he managed to get under this blanket all by himself. He then proceeded to sleep there all day

    Just some current pics

I got him an awesome harnes from a company called Alpine outfitters. This thing is great. It was custom made to his measurements and is super padded. This is the Urban Trail harness (http://www.alpineoutfitters.net/secu...?idproduct=155) Alpine outfitters also makes sled dog harnesses. I really like this harness and would recommend it to anyone with a strong dog. (it even has reflective tape incorporated for safety at night)

I have a 7:00 A.M. Calculus III class that gets out at 8:15 A.M. This is what I come home to every day lol

    Anyway hope you enjoyed it!.

Just wanted to say congrats on sticking with your decision on feeding raw!

In my opinion, after much research it is the best diet for your animals (dogs and cats).

    Stick with it!

Reach for the stars, and if you don't grab them at least you'll fall on top of the world.

Soooo Jealous! Wish I had the time for a dog right now... But the last thing I need is another kid. Maybe in a few years. Gorgeous animal you've got there!

I wanted a huskie for the longest time until I spent almost 2 years working in the kennel of an animal hospital.

Seeing EVERY huskie come in and bite for an exam or just in general freak out but a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm a firm believer in the fact that if you don't work a work dog, they will for sure be crazy....and not good crazy.

He is beautiful though, good job!
