Question Mice or Rats for 4 month old ball python

So I just go my beautiful ball python. Named her Coke :]
I wanted to know which would be better for her to eat. I fed her a mouse hopper yesterday and she got that down no problem. Should I keep her on hoppers or transition over to rats?

I personally feed all my ball pythons rats. First feeding they get a mouse hopper then I switch them over the next week to rat pups. I feel rats are easier and healthier for the snake. Some people don't have access to the correct rat sizes so they stick with mice which works too. I just personally feel rats are a better option in the long run. Just my opinion though

My hatchlings never see a mouse, unless they are difficult starters. I feed rat fuzzies to start with, and then upsize according to the BP's weight. I also switch my hatchlings to F/T within the first couple of meals.

From what I've read on here, the younger they are, usually, the easier it is to get them on rats. Plus a BP will outgrow the proper size mouse eventually and will require more than one but I doubt they would outgrow the proper size rat.

Okay cool thanks everyone. I think I'll transition her over to rat pups from now on.
