    So, other than BP's...

I'm a huge fan of tortoises...finally got one for myself, tiny little leopard tortoise. Won't be small for long...here he/she is munching on some turnip greens.

Is this little one going to have a shell that's high white? I gained my first bit of leopard tortoise knowledge yesterday at a show, and after it fell asleep in my hand, I did all I could to not bring it home with me. I believe I'll have one someday though!

I've been told they grow pretty quickly for tortoises, but I couldn't tell you to be honest. This is my first one...the breeder did tell me it'll start slowing down between 5-8 years.

I don't think it'll be really high white, not even 50/50, but it will fill in with a nice amount of white as it grows.

And here's a pic after a plantain snack the other day...I think it ended up with more on its face than in its mouth...
