That poor burm Rusty! That's terrible! I am glad to hear lab work on these guys came back good, tho. At least there's hope, and it's certainly encouraging that they are eating. Keep us updated on their progress.

    Proper way to measure.

    UPDATE:
three corns still alive. Two are eating well. The female corn and female "candy cane" corn are doing great. The Male albino is still regurging a bit. We have to keep him extremely quiet and wait it out. He was pretty emaciated, but at this point he is as rehydrated as possible, now it's up to him.
    Thanks

Glad to hear it, Rusty. I hope the male's system is able to get used to eating and digesting again, but if not you know you've given him every opportunity and the failure is on the part of the people who starved him.

what are you trying to feed him? seems like being starved that much would be real tough to come back from. i really hope he gets better.

p.s. how hard is it to keep an animal when all it needs is water, heat, and food a couple times a month. my 3 year old cousin could do better then that. the case should be the same in court whether its anything from a little mouse to a horse and even a snake. whats the difference? the same cruelty and neglect is going on. people need to be punished just the same. stupid society and their need to give snakes a vicious horrible rep. thats what it all comes down to. grr.
