    mouse in the house!

I've always been more of a rat person, but while adventuring the pet store recently, I was intrigued by the mice they had. I know quite a few people on here have done some researching on mice/rat colors, so I was hoping for some input. I'm pretty sure the male is a brindle, and the female is just tan, but I could be wrong.

You're gonna wanna not use paper towel. Ahaha. The males mark everywhere, and can really reek.

One of my males is like yours, and he had produced some like your female.

    Re: mouse in the house!

For quarantine, paper towels is just easier for me. Since they get cleaned everyday anyways, its more sensible to use than wasting litter. I've had male mice before, so I'm well aware of their ungodly stench, haha.

Idk what he is, but he's cute!

It's ok Coleslaw, I know the boa voices in your head are distracting.

They are cool! And what are you feeding them? Lab blocks are best..

    Re: mouse in the house!

In the picture they were eating puppy food, just because it was closest at hand. My mice & rats get an extremely varied diet between fresh produce, grains and commercial foods. I usually stick with Mazuri or Oxbow for my lab block/commercial diet.
