What kind of beardie is Thor?

So my dad brought home this bearded dragon from a friend who gave it to him and I'm now taking care of him.

I'm curious to know though if he is of any kind of morph or just a normal beardie. I know it's impossible to tell exactly without lineage from the breeder but I don't have that. What do you think from the pictures?

Also, what's a good way to play with him? He hangs out a lot with me while I'm on my laptop but do lizards have toys? and one more thing, how in the world do you trim their nails or do you leave them? His keeps getting caught in my clothes when he climbs around on me.

    Thanks all

Looks like a normal beardie. There are a few morphs, but most beardies don't have genetics that transfer in a predictable way.

There aren't really any "toys" for beardies, but having things for them to climb on in their cage is good. I wouldn't trim his nails, but if you put some stone/wood in the cage it will help to keep his nails under control

Looks normal to me, but I'm certainly no expert in beardie morphs.

I don't think there are any toys for them. Just spend lots of time with him.

You can buy reptile nail trimmers or even cat nail trimmers. Just be careful not to cut the quick.

Thanks I always read about people talking about morphs and I guess I didn't quite understand it.

I'll get some stone in there for him to help trim them, thank you.

There are some morphs (like hypo & leatherback) and they transfer predictably (like Ball Python morphs). Most of the colors on the other hand don't transfer in predictable ways (if you breed a bright yellow beardie to a red beardie you will get some red beardies, some bright yellow, and a bunch in-between.

    Yeah, that's probably a normal.
I couldn't tell you much about clipping a beardie's nails, but I heard it's nothing like trimming a snake's nails.
