Yeah- they are a bit foggy so to speak, but the pics were taken through his sterilite.. in a few days or so, I will get better pics.
I have been sitting back watching him..he is sooo active, never seen such an active booger. I gave him crickets a bit ago, he gobbled them up like there is no tomarrow. I am so happy he ate already though! Gave him monitor food, but he dont seem to interested in it, maybe he has never had it before and only had crickets... but from what I have read, he will eventually learn to eat it with some patience.. gonna try hard boiled eggs, was reading somewhere that they like them. Anyone else got savannas? What are you feeding yours?

Don't have any savs, so I don't know what they eat....but he looks and sounds adorable!! How big will he get?

I did LOTS of research for the past few months- before getting him..and, alot of the info is sketchy, some of it says 3 foot to 4, others say as much as 5 foot.. I personally have never seen a sav over 4 foot, and most I have seen have been around 3 to 3 and a half foot full grown. In any case, I dont mind even if he gets 5 foot, I got his housing all planned for that occurance anyhow- just gonna build him a HUGE home... for now he is in a sterilite container, I chose that cause it was a cheap way to house him immediately, and taking into consideration he is gonna get quite big, I would rather house him this way and put the $ toward a HUGE permanent home later.

Wow....they get pretty big!! It's always impressive to see such cute little buggers turn into monster lizards!
