    Corn Snake Small for Age?

I'm curious if my corn snake is too small for his age. He is a male Okeetee, and he is almost two years old, but is only around 20 inches. It seems like he's tiny for his age. Is he just small? Or what? He's grown since I've got him, but only by about 7 in. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    ~Saxguy101

Re: Corn Snake Small for Age?

Do you know about how much he weighs? Also, how often do you feed him? I have a 2011 female who's about 80g and 27in last I measured her...but she's grown since then. All snakes grow at their own rates. I have a snow who's about a month younger than the female I mentioned above and the snow is only 45g and about 23ish inches long.

I have no idea how old my corn is. It was originally my uncles until he moved out and left it behind.

It's over 100g and HAS to be at least two years old.

As long as he seems plump (skin isn't saggy) he should be fine.

I have a corn that was about 12 inches when I got her. Then 8 months later she is over 3 feet. She went from about 30 grams to 420 in that amount of time. Then I have another that seems like she is growing a lot slower. It'll vary. As long as he is fed the right size meal once a week then he will be fine.
