I just built one of those plastic shelf racks. I had to leave the top shelf off for height (I hate reaching up blindly to pull bins), but it holds 14 animals in 28 qt bins. I love it, it took a bit longer to build than I had thought, but it's actually very attractive, neat and clean, and very sturdy. It's also very light--no need for wheels to move it around.
