<Resting with head tilted upwards after feeding>

Hey there! I'm new to this forum.

So I've had my baby ball python for a week already, and after making sure she's all settled in, I fed her a mouse. She took it eagerly and was completely finished within 5 minutes.

After lots of yawning and stretching her mouth, she's resting with her head tilted slightly up....Is this normal for ball pythons? It's not a 90 degree angle, more like a 45 degree angle. She doesn't do this normally when she's resting. I tried to take a photo of her, but she tried to attack the camera, so I'm guessing she doesn't like the flash. She is normally super docile. Is she just very eager for another meal?

She has no breathing problems, no abnormalities anywhere, and is a very active curious little snake!

    Her name's Leeloo.

Really nothing to worry about. Whether she is eager for another meal depends on what size mouse you're feeding her. 10-15% of her body weight is the general rule. Congrats on your new friend & welcome to the forum!
