Shipping feeders
Hey, I'd like to say thanks in advance for the help. I'm looking into how to ship frozen feeders to a friend. Could I use 1.5in styrofoam to line the box and add a cool pack?

When i order frozen rat or rabbits they always use dry ice, i dont think the cool packs will keep the food frozen until it gets to your friends house.

Thanks, does anyone know if you need a permit to ship using dry ice?

You should check your chosen shipper's specific TOS. FedEx and UPS may differ.
Last time I looked, you can ship with less than 5 pounds, but it must be specifically labeled. Over 5 pounds is another regulatory ball game altogether.
If you ignore the requirements even on the <5 pound limit, there could be negative legal implications.
