This was one of about 8 or 10 normal adults I picked up from someone local. The story goes, they once belonged to a local BP breeder who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident. His partner then didn't want to go it alone and unloaded all his stuff to help pay bills, etc.
So I do think it's a possible 'morph' that the partner, not the snake expert, didn't recognize...
