I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee....

Fedex arrived this morning with a package from BHB! For those of you who participated in this thread: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...nd-quot-decide! This was the #8 ball python that the majority of those who did vote voted for!

Her name is Betty (sticking with the "B's") she weighed in at 69g and is amazing! Working on a rack system this weekend so I can better house all my snakes in one efficient manner than having tubs and such all about taking up tabletop surface area lol!

I made an unboxing video which can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUL0A...ature=youtu.be

And here are some pictures of Betty, the Bumblebee!

Best I could get for a belly shot. Nice and clean!

Here she is with her future mating partner, my Pewter male from BHB that I got a couple weeks ago. The contrast of the patterns and colors is amazing granted they are the same species of animal! Can't wait to see some pewter bees, sterlings, and sterling bees from this pair, -IF- the odds are in my favor. I suppose I will know hopefully around a year from now!

    And the everwanted "Headshot"
    My Critters:
    Balls:
    0.1 Pastel "Bellatrix"
    1.0 Pewter "Brian"
    0.1 Bumblebee "Betty"
    1.0 Ghost Mojave "Javier"
    0.1 Mojave het Ghost "Rogue"

    Mammals:
    1/2.0 Cat "Magellan"

    Other Reptiles:
    1.0 100% het albino Hognose
0.1 Fire Tiger Bearded Dragon "Cake"
    0.0.1 Sulcata "Boss/Bossie"

They wont be my first clutch that I produce. I already have a female Pastel that is nearing 1200 grams and so once the male gets up to weight, she should be ready to go as well. I'm thinking about doing something special for my first clutch. I am a very generous person and while it is nice to think that your hard work and whatnot can make you some money to feed your hobby (literally and figuratively) I am thinking about doing something special where I lotto off the first egg that my female pastel lays, the winner would get whatever popped out of it, so it could be a pastel, cinnamon, pewter, super pastel, or a sterling. Anyways, I gotta think of how i'd go about doing that...but I think it would be fun. I suppose we shall see within the next 6 months or so.
