Measuring your herps

I think so. I hadn't seen it before and haven't tried it yet, but I certainly know how difficult it can be to measure a snake who doesn't care how long s/he is.

I've used that program before. The tricky part is getting a decent picture looking precisely straight down on the snake. But once you get that, the program is easy to work. The picture I have in my album of Caesar crawling across the cutting-mat is similar to the one I used for the program...taken at the same time. The one from above is too blurry to bother sharing, but it worked well enough for measuring. Gonna have to do it again sometime soon because I know he's grown several inches since the last time.

Thanks, Judy, good to hear from someone who's actually used it before. By the way, I did get the doors attached to the new enclosure last night and will be picking up some fake plants for it today. I'll try to get pics up tonight with it both empty and full (minus cresties, of course!).
