1/4 inch melamine question bout moisture

    Hey.

I picked up some 1/4 inch melamine and one side has the white side te other I bare.

    Question.

Am I okay using the bare side as the bottom(what my tubs will rest on) and not have any moisture problems.

Personally I would not suggest particle board that is not fully sealed up. The fumes from it in a enclosed space can be fairly strong and have negative health effects on mammals. without any information on reptiles I would assume that it would be bad for them too. The particle substrate is also venerable to moisture.
