    Tongue Issue.. Is This Normal?

My little spotnose always has her tongue hanging out of her mouth. She has the ability to put it back in her mouth but for some reason she just leaves it hanging out. I have never seen this before on any snake and just recently noticed it on her. I am worried that having her tongue out can leave to infection. Has anyone dealt with this before?

That really is strange! I've never seen this with any of mine...

I don't think it would cause an infection unless she had some kind of open wound or is laying her tongue in some poop.

Could you post a video of her with her tongue hanging out? Does is flicker or just lay there limp?

    Hi,

Have you checked inside her mouth to see if there is anything odd?

I'd agree on checking the inside of her mouth for something wrong.
