    Snake trading/expo today

I really want a Vanilla sub/adult female and the only snake I have of similar value is the Kobylka male Bee.

Do dealers do trades like that and would he be of interest to any of them?

I don't want to subject him to a long drive if the answer is no or unlikely.

Feel free to be brutally honest because I really don't want to stress him if there's no point in trying.

    Thanks!

I don't think driving is all that stressful, they get shipped all over the world and do just fine.

If you're thinking of bringing your snake with you to the show. I would strongly suggest you don't. You risk introducing mites and other problems which can be transferred to your snake which can be present at shows(I speak from personal experience). Not to mention all reptile shows that I've ever been to have said no personal animals!

On to the trading part of this. Most sellers don't prepare to do trades at shows and have animals they are looking to sell, unless you have made prior arrangements to do a trade at the show. I wouldn't just bring your snake to the expo looking for a trade for reasons I have stated above.

My suggestion is if you insist on trading at a show, try to contact breeders in advance and see what they can work out with you. Otherwise you might just be disappointed and bringing unnecessary stress to your animal.

He goes off feed if anything in his house even 'looks funny'.

A car ride is a major deal for him.

    [he's very 'spayshul']

I agree with notmyfault. I don't think your going to have a lot of success with trading at shows. Most breeders who have tables at shows are not interested in many trades. I wouldn't risk bringing your snake with you, just my opinion.

    Cheers,
    Chris.
